I’ve ghosted every single person I’ve ever been set up on a date with. A couple of my friends told me that it was a bitch ass move but I didn’t do it out of malice or disrespect — it’s just that once I know there’s no real connection, no spark, no common ground… I’m done.

I don’t see the point in dragging out conversations that already feel like dead weight. I don’t owe anyone a forced friendship just because we happened to share an awkward drink or a polite dinner.

No animosity, no hard feelings.

Side note: Forever XXI is going out of business and everything is on sale 80-90% off, the fixtures were 50% off. Everything. Must. Go.

    As I’ve only ever been set up on a date once – and then I married him – I haven’t had an opportunity to ghost anyone. But I think this is a fine idea, and your thoughts are quite rational. I do have a girlfriend who is a pro at ghosting and blocking, so I do see this art firsthand. 🙂
