I pretty much open a blank page and start writing whatever is on my mind. There are times when I don’t finish writing. Some days, I might have a sentence written down to complete at a later time when I have more time or when I’m in the “mood” and on other days I’m able to crank out a post in its entirety in one sitting.
I’m pretty sure that the proper way to write a blog post involves using an outline to ensure that I don’t go off topic but that’s not how my brain works. For a thesis, capstone, or dissertation… sure but for a blog, I’m pretty laid back about it.
