LINK: well, well, well…
My dad used to be the photographer and deacon at our church growing up. He had a bunch of cameras and his hobbies were expensive. It used to piss my mom off so much because he was spending a lot of money on electronic gadgets, cars (he always had a car he was working on and then sold them), musical instruments (guitars, keyboard, pan flute, and an accordion), tools, and vintage cameras. He loved fixing things and figuring out how things worked. He was a mechanical engineer, BTW.
I was happy that he was out there doing his hobbies and enjoying himself. I was also glad that I wasn’t the only one getting the brunt of my mother’s wrath.

When my dad passed away, my brother and I were left with to handle his belongings because my mom wasn’t in the right headspace to do so. My brother told me that I should keep this camera since I take so many pictures. I countered him with, “but I take it on my phone… plus I already have a digital camera.” It didn’t matter to him. He didn’t want it so now I have it.
Ian, it looks like my dad had the same one you recently fixed. The bottom part of the leather case needs to be sewed or glued back on though.

It took me a minute to figure out how to even open this contraption.
I’m not really sure what to do with this… maybe one day, I’ll eventually start taking snaps with it… but where do I even go to get the film developed?
