LINK: time will tell
Write a post about time, using this photo from Ianmdudley.

Thank you, Ian for the snap!
Feel free to use any prompts for June that I post and/or tag me.
I’d love to read your responses.
The older I get, I feel like the faster time goes by.
Patients tell me to do things while I’m still young and able-bodied. They waited till retirement but by the time they got there, their bodies have started to decline. It’s made it more difficult to get around and venturing too far away from home felt risky, especially when they have multiple chronic diseases and didn’t want to stray too far away from familiar hospitals.
The retirement age keeps creeping up and by the time it’s my turn to retire, I could be well into my 70’s in order for me to get my full benefits (if social security is still a thing). The Bipartisan Policy Center proposed raising the full retirement age to 69, an increase of one month every two years from 2031 to 2078 if enacted. I have no desire to doing the grind till I’m a geriatric unless CRISPR can cure aging.
My friends are already engaging in micro-retirement, but that’s not something I’m really interested in doing right now either. I have friends in the Bay area who quit their full-time tech jobs and are surviving off freelance gigs. They’re spending a majority of their time focusing on their mental health and passion projects till they’re ready to jump back into working full-time.
I have every intention of doing the most that I can with whatever time I have left. I don’t know when my time will end but what I do know is that I’m going to do my best to work hard and have as much fun as I can along the way.
