If you’re new to my blog, I am a self-proclaimed sushi monster. I’ll try all kinds of sushi from Michelin starred and omakase restaurants to hole-in-the-wall spots tucked away in unassuming places.
I accidentally deleted my previous blog, which included all my sushi posts (1-15).

I had a coupon. I had time to step out for lunch. So my colleague and I took full advantage of this opportunity to go eat sushi.

We talked shop for a little bit, about all the drama in her department. Low key, I’m glad I don’t work in that department because it’s nothing but constant chaos from the employees. When the staff is nuttier than a fruitcake, it makes the job even more challenging.

Sexy Girl:
Inside: shrimp tempura, jalapeno, spicy mayo
Top: mango, masago, green onion, tempura flakes
Sauce: eel sauce and chili oil

I really wanted to love the Sexy Girl but it was not it. Having the sweet mango in this roll was ruining it for me.

Pacific roll: spicy tuna, shrimp tempura

This was super basic. IDK why I ordered it.

American dragon:
Inside: shrimp tempura, spicy shrimp and crab
Top: eel, avocado, masago, green onion, tempura flakes
Sauce: spicy mayo and eel sauce

This was mid. It wasn’t the best but it certainly wasn’t the worst.

Tiger:
Inside: shrimp tempura, cream cheese, avocado, and cucumber
Top: seared shrimp with spicy creamy sauce

I looooove the tiger roll. I think it has to do with all the different textures in this roll and makes my mouth so happy.

Is anyone else tuning in to watch/hear about the high-profile murder trial of Lindsay Clancy from Massachusetts? She is a L&D (labor and delivery) nurse who unalived her three children— Cora (5), Dawson (3), and Callan (8 months) inside her home before jumping out of a window attempting suicide. The defense is claiming that Clancy had severe postpartum depression and postpartum psychosis while the prosecution is arguing that it was intentional and premeditated. I haven’t had a chance to listen to what the psychiatrist had to say on the stand. She was prescribed over 30 prescriptions for 13 different psychiatric medications during the four months leading up to the children’s demise.

I’ve had many patients who have come in with baby blues, postpartum depression, and postpartum psychosis. I’m hoping that by knowing more about this case will help me be a better clinician.
