King Jayavarman VII and his first wife, Queen Jayarjadevi (don’t ask me how it’s pronounced) were the architects of the Khmer Empire’s golden age during the 12th-13th centuries. They steered the empire away from Shivaism to Mahayana Buddhism. Queen Jayarjadevi passed away early into the King’s reign and following her death, Jayavarman VII married her older sister, Queen Indradevi, who was a legendary Sanskrit poet and academic. The three of them were known as the “royal trinity”.
When my fur bae used to get acupuncture for her degenerative disc disease. And yes, I did get her acupuncture. I did everything possible after the death of my cat. I wasn’t going to have regrets… again.
When Five Star and I stayed at the Soho Grand in SoHo, Lower Manhattan, NYC. We got our own rooms because they’re on the smaller side in NY in comparison to California. God, I love New York. I fucking felt alive with the cool air bitch slapping me in the face as I wore my puffy green Moncler coat, walking everywhere.
I was at the U of Minnesota (where I went for my undergrad) bookstore and saw this monstrosity. If I go back and see it there again, I’m getting it and no one can stop me.
Because I love boy bands. Two of the five members from N*SYNC—Chris Kirkpatrick and Lance Bass. Lance Bass does NOT age at all. Lance is 47 years old. I also did not know that Chris Kirkpatrick was 54 years old. What the heezy?
This was another dog we babysat for. His name is also Louis—a Maltipoo, not to be confused with the unhoused Louis, who passed away. This is Louis the II. Anyway, he loathed my male friends who came over and in fact, he hated my little guts too… except when I took him for walks. I really wanted him to love me cause he’s so damn cute but fuck, he was not having it. He’d try to attack and bite me and my friends, but strangely enough he loved my mom though. Gah, like WTF, dude? He was acting like he was some sort of curmudgeon! He stayed with us for about two weeks. He was so pissed that his parents left him to go to the motherland and got dropped off at our house.

Hopi with Manta.
Artist was an influential Native American Artist, T.C. Cannon. This is a woodblock print 56/200 from 1978. An unmarried Hopi woman with a squash blossom hairstyle, wearing a purple and white striped manta. The background has yellow and white horizontal stripes framed by the decorative geometric borders. The Hopi women were the first to wear this hairstyle and it’s said that it inspired the hairdo for Princess Leia’s iconic cinnamon bun that was passed down to Padmé Amidala.
