LINK: meet info man: q+a 2026
Thanks so much, info-man for taking the time to answer my questions this year. I actually interviewed her back in 2025, but as I’ve mentioned before, my site got completely wiped out *sobs* and I had to rebuild it from scratch… again. Since I’m starting off fresh, I figured ask more intimate questions and scratch beyond the surface to get to know her better.
If you had to take someone from WP on a tour of your city/state/town, where would you take them?
My city isn’t famous for any major tourist attractions, so I’d probably take them around my state instead. We’d definitely visit the Golden Temple and Jallianwala Bagh, not just because they’re well-known places, but because they tell an important part of India’s history. And they are beautiful. Back in my town, I’d skip the tourist checklist and show them everyday life instead. We’d stop for a big glass of lassi, here there is a local shop famous for it, it is called ‘chajju di lassi’ and wandering through the local streets, and visit a few places I have good memories of. Maybe quiet walks near fields too .
Your blog is called endless explorations. What are you currently exploring?
I enjoy public speaking, and recently someone asked me for help preparing a speech on “Should students follow passion over marks?” While helping them, I ended up asking myself a bigger question: How do you even know something is your passion? Is passion something you discover, or something you build over time? I still don’t have a perfect answer, but I enjoy thinking about it. I’ve also been exploring Italian recipes. I made pasta completely from scratch, and for the first time, my younger sister actually finished what I cooked! That felt like a huge achievement. For a moment, I genuinely felt like a chef.
Is there a part of you that you had to let go of in order to grow?
Innocence. When I was a kid I used to think that everyone around me is my friend and of course I learnt it hard way .
What’s the weirdest chapter in your life so far?
The weirdest chapter was when my elder sister moved away for a while. During that time, I became the “boss” of the house. I got used to making my own decisions. Then she came home for the holidays, and suddenly it felt like someone had taken over my position! She has a naturally bossy personality, so she would start making rules again, telling me what to do or what not to say.
The funny part is that I’m the rebellious middle child, while my younger sister listens to our elder sister without question, but somehow never listens to me. I’ve argued with both of them at different times, yet they almost never argue with each other. Sometimes I wonder if I’m the irritating one…… or maybe it’s just middle-child syndrome!
Looking back now, it’s actually a funny memory. At the time, though, it felt like my own house had changed overnight.
How did you come up with the name info-man?
Lately I’ve been exploring questions more than answers.
One night I was sitting at my desk, and “Info-Man” just popped into my head. I honestly didn’t expect anyone to read my blog. I thought, Who reads blogs anymore in the age of Reels and Shorts? So I picked a name without overthinking it. And I initially thought I will never be serious about blogging, any user name will be good …….But slowly I realized people do read blogs, maybe when I started reading blogs, I realized it is a great hobby, I remember telling a friend in 2024 that I got 2 subs on my secret blog. I was over the moon. This name is quite good though, it makes me laugh whenever I end my blog with this line ‘ Your Not So Informative, Info Man, it just became a thing 😉
Info-man, thank you again for spending time answering these questions and for being so transparent and sharing bits of your memorable moments with everyone. I enjoyed getting to know you a little more this time around. I’ve heard of the Jallianwala Bagh massacre before and I think visiting this historical landmark would definitely put history into perspective.
