LINK: hay fuego por todas partes

Southern California is facing several fires concurrently and the Santa Ana winds going up to 112 km/h, is reducing the visibility and definitely making things worse.
I was hoping that this year, we’d have less devastation but it doesn’t seem like mother nature wants to cooperate. So far, my family and I are safe but we are keeping vigilant and we have our stuff packed in case we need to be evacuated again (the last time was during the pandemic and the police blocked the streets, preventing residents to going back to their homes).
There are people without power right now and I’m trying to help out my friends who are affected at this time. One of the major freeways was closed for quite some time because fire actually jumped the freeway.
Whatever plans I had for this weekend have been scratched, in case I get called into work.
I hope everyone in Southern California stay safe and that it’s not a repeat of 2025’s fires…
