I think that every person has a purpose in this world.

• writing stories that make someone feel less alone at 0200
• saving lives in the hospital, clinics, or skilled nursing facilities
• being that friend who somehow knows what to say to comfort others or simply listens
• helping those in need (whether it’s your time, money, or skills)
• making music that makes someone’s Monday a bit more bearable
• creating films or shows that remind us what it means to be human
• raising children with patience and intention
• educating the future generation
• striving to become the best version of themselves
• cooking meals that feel like a hug
• making a positive movement, even if it’s a micro-movement

Whatever it is, it fucking matters.

Your life is your own experience, it’s a personal journey, and no one can take that away from you.
