I think that every person has a purpose in this world.
- writing stories that make someone feel less alone at 0200
- saving lives in the hospital, clinics, or skilled nursing facilities
- being that friend who somehow knows what to say to comfort others or simply listens
- helping those in need (whether it’s your time, money, or skills)
- making music that makes someone’s Monday a bit more bearable
- creating films or shows that remind us what it means to be human
- raising children with patience and intention
- educating the future generation
- striving to become the best version of themselves
- cooking meals that feel like a hug
- making a positive movement, even if it’s a micro-movement
Whatever it is, it fucking matters.
Your life is your own experience, it’s a personal journey, and no one can take that away from you.
