My brother found out about my old blog because all his friends were reading my racy, shopping, and GRWM (get ready with me) posts. My brother told me to shut down my site because he was embarrassed that his friends were constantly talking about my blog, I told him to kick rocks and that he wasn’t the boss of me. So then he threatened to tell my parents but I didn’t back down from his lame idle threat. In fact, I doubled down and told him to go right ahead because IDGAF. I did, however, tell him that I wouldn’t write about him or the parental unit. His response was a loud sigh and an eye roll.
Then it got weird. Like really weird. I went on a date with Jerry once, who also happened to read my blog. We managed to stay cordial for a couple years afterward till we lost touch. But where it got strange was… turns out Jerry started dating my sister-in-law’s best friend. Small world, huh? Anyway, when Jerry found out my brother was… well my brother, he tried to talk to him about my blog. My brother wasn’t havin’ it and shut Jerry down with a quickness because he didn’t want my sister-in-law and her bestie to know about my blog.
For the most part, a majority of my Korean friends knew about my former blog. As for this one, a few of them know it exists and have left comments in the past. These days, they’re more into IG and TikTok instead of reading blogs.
