The U.S. broke away from Great Britain like an emancipated minor. Now the country is 250 years old. That’s like a baby in comparison to how old some of the other countries are like Egypt, China, or Iran. Fun fact: Korea is over 4,300 years old.
At work, we celebrated early. I loaded up my plate because I was starving but ended up only eating half of it. I think my eyes are bigger than my stomach.
Spicy Filipino fried chicken from Jollibee.
Little Caesars cheese pizza puff and crazy sauce.
Chicken tamale.
Beef hot dog.
Some sort of gelatin fruit mix.
Berry yogurt.
There was more food on the buffet table: salad, Filipino spaghetti, other types of tamales (beef and pork) and chips.
Afterward, I was in a gluten-carb overdose, which I had to counter with caffeinated coffee because I was feeling so sluggish.
I also won $105 bucks on my scratchers that I paid $15 on.
At any rate, I’ll be in Vegas. I don’t have any deets on what we’re going to do but I anticipate that it’ll be fun and full of shenanigans.
