Currently listening to: Hands Clean – Alanis Morisette
We’ll fast forward to a few years later
And no one knows except the both of us
And I have honored your request for silence
And you’ve washed your hands clean of this
What’s the hardest thing you’ve ever had to forgive?
Prompt created by yours truly.
Feel free to use any prompts for May 2026 that I post and/or tag me.
I’d love to read your responses.

Hmm there were a few hardest things TBH (in no particular order):
- fresh out of the slammer – when my mom sent me straight to hell in the motherland
- friends who have introduced me to new restaurants. Now, it’s even harder for me to decide what to eat because the options are endless.
- coworkers who continue to bring delicious foods to work and insist on sharing them with me. They truly don’t give a damn about my diet… but it is very nice of them.
- also to the colleague who thought that microwaving fish in the break room was a good idea
- my dad for dying. I know, very selfish of me but I miss him very much.
- myself. I am my worst critic, but some say this is what fuels me to do better, be better… at least that’s what I’m told in Korean culture.
- to the boyfriend who cheated on me with my friend
- my supposed friend (we’re no longer friends, BTW) who fucked my then-boyfriend
- to the Koreans in the motherland who made me feel like I didn’t belong because I am a 교포 (gyopo -Koreans living overseas) and the Americans who made me feel like I didn’t belong because I wasn’t Caucasian.
- whoever made season 3 of Euphoria, season 2 was soo soo good. Ugh. Can we at least bring back Mindhunter?
- also the finale of Game of Thrones, I dedicated so many fecking years watching this show and they did the show dirty
