I’d like to be truly unguardedly happy. I don’t want to brace for it to end, wait for the other shoe to drop. I’d love to laugh, smile so wide and genuinely that I can’t stop, be light and so giddy that it becomes infectious.

I don’t remember the last time I’ve been happy like that… sober.

    Without sorrow one can nevwr be happy. Which is why in my native language of Konkani they named alcohol as sorrow.
