Since we are fans of the show, Bridgerton, the three of us decided to go to the Candlelight: The Best of Bridgerton on Strings. I was able to secure the tickets this time around. The last time, it sold out quicker than I anticipated.
It’s a legit collab with Netflix, not some rando quartet claiming to play the songs that were in the show.

It was held at Immanuel Presbyterian Church in Korea Town. It’s a gothic historical landmark and inspired by French cathedrals. It was built in 1929 and I believe they also filmed John Wick at this location.

The inside is just absolutely stunning. The vaulted ceilings, the carved woodwork, oak pulpit, and stained-glass windows.
They said that there were 10,000 LED candles placed for this evening. From far away, it looks like it could be real instead of those flameless candles.

People were allowed to take pictures before and after the concert was over. They also gave us a sample of the Bridgerton tea from The Republic of Tea. I got the Queen Charlotte sample, which was nice because it’s herbal and I do love hibiscus and fruits.
I was dressed rather basic with black pants, tank top, and sweater but there were plenty of people who were dressed to impress, Bridgerton style, with full on gowns and masquerade masks.

The quartet (Orchid Quartet) are all female, one is Korean. There are two violinists, one violist, and one cello player. The duration is sixty minutes and we’re not allowed to film or take pictures till the last two songs. We were seated off to the right side, row two in zone A, which we did have to pay more for but it was worth it. The seats in the pew were the most uncomfortable seats though because of the angle.
The playlist has 17 songs, two are original Bridgerton theme songs and the rest are covers to songs that were reinterpreted by a string ensemble.
