Between the original WP app, JetPack, and website design insanity im surprised WP is still functioning. I had been tinkering with the ghost platform after I left SS, but decided to come back to WP.

You’d be back to spending wasted hours on social media. The notes part is sm, with all the doom scrolling, dopamine affirmations, scammers, catfishers, etc….like any other platform. With the added bonus of the manosphere & femosphere battling it out, MAGA, and way too many essays on why we all suck in different ways. AI slop and writing abounds. Ive been attacked a few times, plenty of trolls on it too. Ive had the experience of starting on WP, going to SS, and back here.

My graph is the same of yours. They are still working on it. We exchange emails with the happiness engineers and they’re working their best. WordPress always surprises us🤩 We’ll never know what they can do to our site. They have all the control.

I have no idea what WordPress is doing, except they clearly removed a lot of bots. We all saw a subscriber drop at the same time, but I also saw a big drop in views (relatively speaking – I’m a small fish).
Now I’ll have to check my subscriber chart to see if it went back up. I haven’t gotten any notifications that would lead me to believe has, but this IS WordPress…
