Much thanks to CJ from bloom.planted.north for nominating me; I’ve been a fan of her site for quite some time now. I really enjoy reading about her life as a mother, Canadian, nurse, girlfriend, daughter, and writer. Her life is so different than mine and I feel like that’s another reason why I’m drawn to her blog.

CJ’s questions for me:
- Do you ever or have you ever swallowed your gum?
- I used to when I was a kid because I was too lazy to throw it away properly.
- Do you remember the first time you really felt like a grown up?
- Yes, at my first job when I was 15 years old. I saw my first paycheck and couldn’t believe how much they deducted for taxes, that’s when I knew that adulting sucked.
- When you use a public washroom do you line the toilet seat with the disposable paper they provide?
- Absolutely. I don’t need my butt to feel the warmth of some random stranger’s butt heat that was left earlier.
- Side sleeper, back sleeper or stomach sleeper?
- I’m definitely a side sleeper. I like being the little spoon.
- Do you like coffee and if not, have you really given it a fair chance?
- I love coffee but I’ve gone decaf as of late. When I go to Starbs, I’ll get a decaf Americano with ube cold foam on top. It just adds a little razzle dazzle.
- One breakfast everyday for the rest of your life, what is it?
- Eggs, chicken sausage, hot sauce, and hash browns. I could eat this a lot… like a lot. It’s either that or chilaquiles verdes. IYKYK.
- If you had to go on a twelve hour road trip where there are no gas stations to stop at to buy snacks and you can only pack one snack, what would that be?
- White cheddar Cheez-It. It’s so delicious, even though it’s bad for me.
- Do you take reusable shopping bags with you to the grocery store?
- Definitely a reusable shopping bag, here in California, they’ll charge you 10-15 cents per paper bag. F that.
- What activity do you get so caught up in that you lose yourself in it and you have to consciously step away from?
- binging shows
- DD2
- doom scrolling, although I’m much better about it now
- Do you remember how you felt when you learned there was no such thing as Santa/Easter Bunny?
- I knew they didn’t exist when I was a little kid BUT I never told my parents. I continued with the facade so that I could still get presents.
- If you could spend the day or even just the afternoon on a platonic “date” with your first crush, would you?
- If it was with my first ex, yes… yes I would. But my first crush? Nah, I’m good…
