Around this time in 2025:
- I was in the Maldives with a brief stop in London, living my best life.
- I was also going to a bunch of concerts, to my delight.
- I saw my friends more than ever before.
- I was doom scrolling and bed rotting like a champ.
- I didn’t work any overtime but I still had all three of my jobs.
Now in 2026:
- inflation’s got me in a chokehold.
- I’m caffeine and gluten free after one relapse.
- we’re living under the most demented regime ever.
- I’ve heavily decreased my time on social media.
- I’ve been voluntold about working overtime at my primary job; I’m still waiting on when this is supposed to begin.
- I am prepping to see BTS live x 5. This is going to be pricy, which is another reason why I’m not as resistant to the overtime coming my way.
This year def has been more intense than last year and we’re not even at the half-way mark yet. I’ve got a small bit of hope that things will be turning around soon. I’m also curious as to what the future brings, but at the same time, I’m not holding my breath that 2026 will be THE year for me, as much as I want it to be.
Hopefully, we can all survive 2026 unscathed from the projectiles thrown at us…
