Don’t gotta act like such a big deal
I don’t gotta lie ’cause the way you make me feel, oh I
Most people searchin’ for something real
And I don’t need a million dollars
Don’t need expensive problems (I need your love)
Yeah, don’t need a drink just to fill this cup (Oh, oh, I need your love)
One of the things on my to do list last weekend was to organize my closet.
My friends are obsessed with the KonMari method, gathering all your belongings one category at a time, keep only the things that spark joy, and find a designated place for everything else that remains.

So I decided to empty out my closet full of clothes, handbags, and accessories.
Well, first off, the hangers really bugged the shit outta me. I had to go to Costco and get new hangers that all matched. It never really bothered me before but since I was taking the time to really take inventory of what I have, it was blatantly obvious that I had at least 14 different types of hangers. Like what the hell? Some of the hangers I’ve held onto since high school. I don’t know why I kept them since they aren’t sentimental to me.
Most of my clothes are black. It takes up more than half of my closet. It goes with everything and easy to to dress it up or down.
Secondly, I was disgusted with how much I’ve accumulated since the last purge.
I ended up donating half of my wardrobe to the Vietnam Veterans of America, the rest have sparked joy for me so I kept them… at least for now. They are my staple pieces and it’s easy to mix and match things with them.
With that being said, it’s out with the old, in with the new (although, I have no plans on buying anything new any time soon).
