I’m in love with my, myself
It’s okay
난 이 순간 행복해 (ah-ooh)
(I’m happy at this moment)
On Thursday, I got my ass handed to me during the Ticketmaster war. I got booted out of the queue and then got stuck in the queue in between patients, and by the time it was my turn, the only seats left were nosebleeds. You should have seen me crashing out. My assistants didn’t know what to do with me because I am usually even-keeled but at that moment, I was having a menty b. I couldn’t justify the cost of a roundtrip flight, lodging, food, and a ticket just to see BTS in Baltimore or Texas (Arlington and El Paso) with upper tier seating. If I scored VIP soundcheck tickets, I would have definitely gone… but alas, it wasn’t meant to be.
Munich’s queue was wild. They had over a million people waiting. A fucking million.
Luckily, my friends love me and came in clutch. They were able to secure seats for Los Angeles, Stanford, and Las Vegas. If everything works out I could end up going to six of their concerts (twice in each city). At the minimum, I would be able to make it to three of their concerts.
One of the nights in Los Angeles, we get to be in a suite. The last time I was in a suite was when I saw Taylor Swift at SOFI a couple of years ago. The suite includes: 20 tickets, climate controlled space, private entrance, unlimited booze, premium in-suite catering (buffet of foods), and 5 parking spots. It’s definitely an elevated experience. We’ve all been waiting for them to return to LA for four years while they served their military duties. We are long overdue.
