Last week, BTS dropped their 2026 world tour dates. I woke up with over 200 unread texts from my BTS group chat. Apparently, Weverse, the BTS platform app crashed with millions of ARMY frantically registering for presale access.

My friends texted me about the rules: only four tickets per person during presale AND each person could only select three cities.

My friends locked in and picked Stanford, Las Vegas, and Los Angeles.

Me? I was lagging hella hard. I’m always running late when it comes to getting tickets for K-pop groups because work gets in the damn way. If I could just win the lotto, right? After 30 minutes of fighting the crashing site, I finally got through.

I picked: El Paso, Dallas, and Baltimore.

My friends were shooketh. I used to live in Texas so it seemed like the next logical choice since everyone else picked cities closer to home. Texas would have cheaper lodging and food prices. Baltimore? Well, people are scared to go to there because it’s supposedly dangerous, but you know what? IDGAF, no risk, no gain.

The presale is tomorrow, the 22nd.

  • Baltimore – 1000 PST
  • El Paso – 1200 PST
  • Dallas – 1300 PST

I am gonna be so stressed out cause I’ll be at work at that time, hopefully in between patients. I’m also going to be on my cell phone and the WIFI is slower than molasses. Ticketmaster is blocked on our work computers (colleagues already tried).

Ever seen a full grown nerd crashing out? That’ll be me tomorrow.

May the odds be ever in my favor. πŸ’œ

It means my beloved one. It’s also a folklore song in Korean. Many used it during the time Japan colonized Korea to uplift the people and create unity

You should call in sick so you can get online to buy those tickets.

Because given this irrational fandom, clearly you are not well…
