I feel like this is starting to be a dying breed. I’m more apt to drop things or make a bigger effort for my female friends than my male situationships. I will help them move at 0700, listen to them ugly cry over a breakup, hype them up about their new endeavor, or show up for an impromptu coffee meet up.
I don’t have a lot of female friends, therefore, I put in the effort. Unfortunately, I can’t say the same about my friends. For example, Krystiana, ever since she got into a relationship, she’s been MIA. That seems to be her MO and it used to annoy me to no end before, but right now, I’m not even mad about it because I’m super busy these days with work and I’m trying to be my best self (physically and mentally).
