If you were given the opportunity to write a book, what kind of book would it be?

I don’t think I’d ever want to write a book. I know plenty of WP bloggers who are published, but that’s never really been my thing. I like writing blog posts because I don’t have to spend time weaving an elaborate story and being somewhat of a perfectionist, it just wouldn’t happen. I enjoy jotting down my thoughts and let the internet do its thing. Sorta like the updated version of Carrie Bradshaw from Sex in the City. If people like, comment, and subscribe, that’s an added bonus.

With that said, my real life friends who used to read my old blog religiously, thought I should be writing erotic non-fiction or fiction, or a memoir about my fam, or about my dumpster fire dates. I mean I definitely have plenty of content there to write one, that’s for sure.

    I tried to write a book- got about 400 pages into it and said- hell no- this is becoming all work and no pleasure- which assails the whole reason I love to write. Sometimes I wish there were people who bought story ideas- as I think i have the bones of a good book- just not the desire to write it.

    I like the title of that book, it’s hilarious. I’m not thinking about writing any books, but I’m seriously considering submitting articles to magazines and journals to see if they get accepted. Your Carrie Bradshaw analogy is a good one, and I’m doing the same.
