2024
Last year, people felt happier more generous with their time, money, and energy. I went to several big gatherings that were full of foods, laughter, and gifts. Christmas Eve and Christmas Day were really joyous moments with my family and friends.
2025
As we reach the end of 2025
with hands already full
with backs already tired—
I see you.
I am you.
There are days when the inbox never ends.
The breaking news never seems to stop.
And this year feels like it asked for so much
yet it didn’t really give much back.
But tonight, I remembered something.
We’re still here.
And that means a lot.
I went to a friend’s holiday party on Christmas Eve (the party was canceled due to the pouring rain) and on Christmas Day, I’m going to rest. It’s one of the few days where I get the day off from both my jobs. I want to prep for 2026 and just chill at home in my pajamas all day long.
