List 10 things you are grateful for in your life.
Prompt snagged from: Authentically Del
- fam and friends who provide support and love
- all of you here on WP, thank you for your recommendations, encouragement, and engagement. Many of you have made such a positive impact on my life.
- mentors and positive role models
- my jobs to provide shelter, ability to live my best life, and give/share with others.
- good health
- beautiful core memories
- coffee, because you don’t want to see what I’m like without it and also our family dog (whose name is Coffee).
- music, it’s an integral part of my life. A good play list is also a +.
- lazy and relaxing days, specially moments of solitude that give me serenity and peace
- second chances
I’ve been pretty swamped lately, so cooking for the holidays wasn’t in the cards for met his year. My brother’s family and my cousin’s family (including their dogs) are all coming over, so the house is about to get loud, wild, and very full.
Thankfully, Knotts Berry Farm has holiday catered meals. I ordered the turkey dinner and added ham on the side, even though I don’t eat ham. The rest of the fam dislike turkey it is what it is. They get their ham.

During the pandemic, there were a few people I started following. They live locally and were trying to make ends meet due to the lockdown. I bought foods from many of them who were doing their best to stay afloat financially and I’ve stayed in touch with them since 2020. One of them was Katarina, who makes charcuterie boards. I purchased one for Thanksgiving again and it did not disappoint.

Lunch meal. Don’t judge. we are using Dixie plates because I don’t want to do the 2394192 dishes. I know it’s bad for the earth and am aware of all the harmful chemicals on these plates. And yes, it looks tacky… but IDGAF. I’m too tired to bust out the fine china and clean everything.
Wishing you all a Happy Thanksgiving. I hope the day brings wonderful things in your life.
