I was dragging ass, I didn’t sleep much the night before. I basically woke up, showered, got ready, made coffee to go, and went over to Angie’s to carpool.

The eight of us went to go see the double feature. We brought the freebies that we made and put together to give out to other ARMY.

My Taiwanese friend came through with snacks, since I hadn’t eaten brekkie. I definitely munched my way through them before the first film even started. The seats were a pleasant surprise. It reclined with built-in warmers. It felt like I coulda taken a nice little nap but I was fighting hard not to crash. Ironically, it wasn’t me who fell asleep but Lynn.

Seeing that era on the big screen just hit different. The nostalgia is real.

During a brief intermission, I was getting hungry and got mozzarella sticks, hot Cheetos, and water. Not exactly the breakfast of champions, but it kept me going nevertheless.

At this time, three more of our friends joined us for the second movie.

This concert was a whole different vibe, but I loved them both.

Afterward, we toyed with the idea of driving to Hollywood for the BTS TinyTan pop-up but none of had the energy. Instead, we went on a mission for the Encore TinyTan Happy Meal toys at McDonald’s. That was a major disappointment — most of the stores ran out and were giving out the older throwback set, which we already had. Instead, I settled for a 99 cent coffee through the app.

For dinner, we went for chicken katsu. I barely made a dent in my plate since I was full from the Mozzarella sticks I ate for lunch. It was a great ending to a long but fun filled day with ARMY.

    Our Mishna opens with האשה נקנית.  And thereafter continues employing the feminine grammar of שלש rather than the masculine of שלשה, despite the fact that generally its the Man who acquires title to the Nefesh O’lam Ha’bah soul of the woman.  The דאורייתא מצוה – קידושין stands upon the יסוד of the oath brit sworn/cut between the pieces as found in Parshat לך לך.  

    ב:  ומאי איריא דתני שלש, ליתני שלשה?  משום דקא בעי למיתני דרך.  ודרך לשון נקבה הוא

    This means that any adjectives or verbs associated with it must also agree in gender. For example, describe a “way” in a sentence, the accompanying words would require the feminine format.  The Talmud often emphasizes the importance of grammatical precision. Our Mishna teaches here using a feminine term, it indicates that the subject matter, or the context of this Av Mishna (weigh the opening blessing of the Shemone Esrei which contains שם ומלכות.), specifically related to feminine priority, women produce children not men. A Torah oath blessing prioritized over Tehillim prayer-praises in similar fashion. Both קידושין and blessings require swearing a Torah oath-as expressed through the dedication of tohor middot.

    However, Talmudic common law stands upon precedents. דרך understood as the k’vanna of אמת, the 8th Oral Torah middah expression of the dedication of מלכות לשמה! Talmud a common law system that learns through making comparative precedents. In like manner translating שם ומלכות, as worthless as tits on a boar hog.
