LINK: post birthday celebration #6
The three of us went to Wagyu Factory to celebrate my birthday.
It’s just a buffet of all you can eat wagyu meats for 90 minutes. For the first 70 minutes, everything is ordered on a tablet and the last few minutes, we ordered it through our server.

Chubby Group owns Chubby Cattle BBQ, Chubby Skewers, Wagyu Factory, Chubby Cattle Hot Pot, and NIKU X reimagine. This particular location serves Australian, American, and Japanese wagyu.

On the left is wagyu beef tallow to use for cooking the beef. It’s got omega-3 fatty acids and conjugated linoleic acid (CLA).
On the right is signature wagyu platter (thick cuts): M9 wagyu steak, M9 prime top blade, M9 wagyu short rib, M9 marinated wagyu cube with black pepper, with zucchini and mushrooms.

Looking at all this meat is giving me the meat sweats. I didn’t take pics of all the meats cause there were so many. We ordered 16 plates of meat (I was with two other guy friends), 1 plate of calamari (do not get this, it wasn’t that good), and a plate of nigiri (since this place was known for their meats, that’s what I went for).
The meats (we ordered multiples of a few):
- M9 chuck ribeye
- A5 wagyu brisket
- M6-7 wagyu brisket
- M9 wagyu steak
- A5 wagyu ootoro
- M9 wagyu short rib
- M9 wagyu lean meat
My favorite was A5 wagyu ootoro. I ate two plates of that myself.
They also had side dishes sorta like how they would have at Korean restaurants. Kimchi, pickled radish, salad, and seaweed. I wish they had more side dishes but I had to remember, this wasn’t K-BBQ.
I ate all the meat my heart desired till I couldn’t eat anymore. Then I topped it off with green tea ice cream. I was on cloud nine.
When I got home, Amanda asked me if I was available for afternoon tea to celebrate my belated birthday. Just when I thought I was done… I’m not.
