LINK: let’s hope it’s a good one… I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU USE THE LINK
I’ve never done this before… but here I go…
A lot of people look forward to the holidays season—the lights, the food, the gatherings. But I also know that not everyone shares that same feeling. Some dread the stress of it all or find it altogether depressing, and others don’t celebrate for personal or religious reasons. I respect that completely.
That’s why I want this to feel open and welcome for everyone, no matter what your stance is. More than anything, I hope 2026 turns out to be a good year for all of us.
At the end of the year, I’d like to send out cards to anyone who wants to take part. Along with the cards, I’ll be including a little surprise: I’m buying ten prepaid gift cards (Visa or Mastercard since these can be used internationally) in different amounts ranging from $20-$100. Instead of mailing the physical gift cards, I’ll be handwriting the card number, PIN, and expiration date inside ten of the envelopes I send out. That way, nobody handling the mail can feel a gift card inside and be tempted to steal it—it actually happened to a friend of mine last year.
Here’s how it’ll work:
- if only ten people join in, each person will get a gift card
- if a hundred people join, everyone will receive a handwritten card by yours truly and only ten lucky folks will find a gift card #s written into theirs
- anyone who gets the gift card #s, please use it ASAP or transfer it to your account (like Amazon or whatever) because if it expires, I will not be sending out another one
- this is open worldwide—international participants are welcome
A few simple rules:
- your blog must be public
- you should have active posts (not just an empty account)
- Complete the form below or e-mail me directly (justrojie@gmail.com)
- with your name
- e-mail address
- mailing address
- and let me know if you’d like a holiday card or a non-holiday card
I WILL CLOSE THE COMMENTS AND DISABLE THE FORM BELOW AT THE END OF NOVEMBER, SO MAKE SURE YOU SIGN UP BEFORE THEN.
This isn’t sponsored by WordPress—it’s just something I want to do.
P.S. I do not want or expect anything in return, but it would be nice if you’d let me know that you received the card so I don’t have to worry about it.
P.P.S. THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION TO THIS MATTER! – JR
