don’t know what he does to make you cry
But I’ll be there to make you smile
I don’t have a fancy car to get to you
I’d walk a thousand miles
I don’t care if he buys you nice things
Does his gifts come from the heart?
I don’t know, but if you were my girl
I’d make it so we’d never be apart
What objects tell the story of your life?
Prompt snagged from: NY Times
Five key objects that sum up my life:
- piano – for nearly two decades, the piano was my world. I spent countless hours practicing, performing, and competing, my fingers weaving stories through music. It taught me discipline, patience, and how to express feelings that words couldn’t capture. Even now, I still love the classics, but my playlists wander through almost every type of genre.
- iPhone – or rather, two iPhones. One for work and one for personal reasons. If I’m not talking to you in person, chances are I’m texting or DMing in an app. My camera roll is a treasure chest of memories: snap after snap, video after video, from random to unforgettable.
- Labubu – I’ve always been drawn to cute, whimsical things. Something about Labubu’s quirky, slightly mischievous look just makes me happy. It’s also a reminder not to take life too seriously.
- Gemini necklace – I’m a quintessential Gemini, through and through: curious, adaptable, a little unpredictable.
- blog – it’s an archive of my life. Every post is a piece of me—my thoughts, experiences, and moments I want to keep.
