All I can say is that my life is pretty plain

It’s a little frustrating when things look great on my actual site but don’t fully show up in WP Reader. Any media I embed, it just won’t appear there. From what I understand, this is intentional, for security reasons, faster loading times, and to keep the format consistent.
At first, I thought maybe one of my plugins was blocking them so I messed with the settings, deactivated and deleted a few but still no luck. WP Reader still strips out that kind of embedded content.
A workaround would be that I provide a direct link to the actual site in each post located at the top of the page. That way, anyone who wants to see the full experience—videos, music players, social embeds, all of it… can hop over and view it as intended.
I’ve gone down a rabbit hole trying to figure out possible fixes but I haven’t found any solutions as of yet. If anyone has cracked the code, I’m all ears.
WIP (work in progress): I’ve archived all my old posts for now. I plan to slowly go through them and update them with the direct links and media I embed. I’ll repost them as I get them completed.
