Me.

I’ve learned not to rely on other people to regulate my emotions. It’s not that I don’t love or appreciate the people in my life—I do—but when it comes down to it, I know I have to be the one to take care of myself.

It’s just the way it’s been since I was a child.

So I do things that make me feel better. I’ll take myself out for coffee, eat delicious foods, invite friends out, go for a walk, throw on a playlist that I can vibe with, pleasure myself, or write a blog post.

      I like to do things on my own terms, idk if it’s because growing up I had to put my brothers needs before mine since he was younger or now that my mom is older and a widow I have to consider her needs now too.
