I know humor can be a coping mechanism, and some people use it to deal with pain. But I think there’s a line, and some topics hit too close to home for too many people:
- War or conflict
- 9/11
- Cancer
- Suicide
- Mass shootings
- Poverty
- Colonialism
- Slavery
- Domestic violence
- Death
- Medical conditions/diseases
- Abuse of any kind
But we are a very unserious generation, hence I’m sure there’s a meme for that.
