When I stop to think about it, I feel incredibly lucky for a lot of things – and not necessarily the flashy, obvious stuff. Just… life. The kind of life I’ve been able to build. It’s not perfect, but it’s a good life. And that alone is something I don’t take for granted.
- I’m lucky to be surrounded by some of the most wonderful people anyone could ask for-people who pull up, who love me, who make life happier and warmer just by being in it.
- I live in a place where I can be at the beach in the morning and playing in the snow by the afternoon. I like knowing I’m just a drive away from a change of scenery, a different kind of day. Don’t worry, I haven’t forgotten about the high taxes I pay and the egregious cost of living in California.
- I feel lucky that, for the most part, I get to do what I want to do. Within reason of course, I get to choose my own adventure. Freedom, isn’t that what we all want?
