Several of my girlfriends have sent me this meme when I wished them a Happy Mother’s Day.
This year, my brother came over on Saturday to celebrate early since he had to spend actual Mother’s Day with his in-laws. I didn’t mind at all—honestly, it’s more fun when he’s around. That way, I don’t have to bear the full weight of our mom’s lovingly egregious complaints all by myself. It’s like emotional dodgeball, and when he’s there, at least I have a teammate.
