Using credit card points for traveling. For me, it’s been a total game-changer, being able to leverage their point system for luxurious weekend getaways or long-haul international trips without wrecking my bank account. Whether it’s stacking points for flights, hotel perks, or access to lounges where I can breathe before boarding, it all adds up.Â
Now for the flipside: things that, in my opinion, are completely overhyped. First up—reboots. I get it, nostalgia is a powerful thing, but do we really need to keep resurrecting every movie or show from the past? Not everything needs a modern remake. Some classics are best left untouched. I still haven’t forgiven them for rebooting The Crow.
Also, VR. I know, I know—it’s supposed to be the future. But for me? It’s a no. I get motion sickness and the disorientation isn’t worth the novelty.
Lastly, influencer marketing. It’s hard to trust what you’re being sold when you know someone’s getting a paycheck to promote it.Â
