I can’t stand those emails that start off with “I hope this email finds you well”. It never does. I wish people would just get to the point or be real. I would have more respect for the person.
What I really want to write back but never do: “The world is on fire, Susan, and I’m buried under hundreds of unread messages, a never ending queue of patients, and a half-drunk coffee, so no, your email didn’t ‘find me well’.”
