So without further ado:
What is your morning routine?
My alarm blares at 0500. I hit snooze—because I am not a morning person—and drag myself out of bed by 0508 with a groan. The routine kicks in on autopilot: brush teeth, wash face, sunscreen always, makeup maybe (depending on meetings), and then I wrestle my hair into a bun or ponytail. I change into scrubs or business casual, again depending on the day, and then impatiently wait for my Nespresso to brew—because caffeine is non-negotiable. I grab my Stanley full of barley tea, food for lunch, work bag, and am out the door before 0530. Every. Single. Weekday.
What is your favorite season? Why?
Autumn. There’s something romantic and melancholic about it—the crisp air, the changing leaves, sweater weather that hugs just right.
What is your favorite childhood memory?
Going to the motherland and getting spoiled by my grandparents. Their love felt like I was being wrapped in a blanket of affection.
Who or what has been your most unlikely teacher?
My dog. Every walk was a lesson in patience. I used to tug the leash, always in a rush—but she insisted on stopping to sniff everything. Eventually, I realized she was teaching me to slow down. To be present. To enjoy the little things. One of the many things I miss about her.
What is your favorite meal that you would never get tired of and why?
Sushi. I am a sushi monster. Have you read my sushi posts? Which reminds me, I’m behind on this…
What is something that surprises people about you?
Some days, I just want to be held. Being a girl boss is cool and all but sometimes I just want to be a girl.
What motivated you to start blogging?
My friends. We all started doing it together—reading each other’s thoughts, laughing, venting, reflecting. It was a shared space for storytelling, and it felt like a safe way to be seen.
Would you rather spend a quiet evening at home or out with friends or a party? Why?
Honestly, it depends. If the people and the vibe are right, I’m in. I love a good night out when the energy clicks. But more often than not, I lean toward quiet nights—blankets, snacks, doomscrolling or binge-watching something comforting like a good true crime documentary.
If you are a book reader, do you prefer a paper copy or a digital copy?
Paper, always. I need to feel the weight of it, smell the pages, dog-ear my place, crack the spine. There’s something intimate about holding a real book.
What’s your favorite music genre, and who is your favorite singer?
I listen to almost everything—classical, rap, pop, hip hop, rock, ska, new wave, r&b, techno, reggaeton, EDM, Latin, K-pop, J-pop, Lo-fi, house music, drum and base, jazz, country, alternative, and etc. My playlists is all over the place in the best way. Favorite male singer? Jung Kook from BTS. Favorite female singer? Taylor Swift.
