I asked ChatGPT to produce a high quality image of what I would look like at 100 years old. This is humbling and surprising as the image resembles my grandmother quite a bit. Lowkey, I’m kinda freaked out but it is what it is.
I don’t know if I would want to live till 100 years old.
It would depend on a lot of things such as:
- my quality of life. Am I able bodied? Do I still have my wits?
- what society would look like. Will there be kindness in this world or will it be overrun by AI overlords (No offense, AI-chan.)
- whether or not I could afford to live to the ripe age of 100 years. I imagine everything will continue to become exponentially more expensive as time goes on.
- who I am surrounded by. Outliving family and friends sounds heartbreaking but it happens. And since I don’t want or have children (I also don’t believe children should feel obligated to care for their parents), that presents another situation.
