How has travel affected you?
Prompt snagged from: NY Times
Travel has completely reshaped how I see the world — and myself. It’s more than just seeing new places or collecting passport stamps. Every trip opens my eyes a little more, gives me a fresh lens to view life through. It’s in the little moments: sipping unfamiliar coffee in a tucked-away café, hearing a language I don’t understand but still feeling connected, wandering through streets I’ve never walked before but somehow feel like I belong.
There’s this rush I get — a mix of wonder and freedom — every time I step into a new city or country. It makes me crave more. I want to keep chasing that feeling. I want to dance in foreign nightclubs, try food I can’t pronounce, get lost and find myself again, and again, in places far from home.
Travel reminds me how vast the world is and how small my problems really are. It teaches me to be present, to adapt, and to appreciate the diversity and beauty of people and cultures. I always have so much fun wherever I go — but even more than that, I grow. And that’s why I keep going back for more.
