Currently listening to: Sorry, Blame It On Me – Akon
I understand that there’s some problems
And I’m not too blind to know All the pain you kept inside you Even though you might not show If I can’t apologize for being wrong Then it’s just a shame on me I’ll be the reason for your pain And you can put the blame on meKeep a food tracker for the day
Prompt snagged from: Diary of a Journal Planner
This is not a typical day for me but I did meet up with Krystiana finally after I put her on ice for a few months. We had a lot of catching up to do considering I haven’t seen her in over four months.
Morning fuel:
Started the day with a cup of homemade coffee—just enough to bring me back to life and make me semi-functional. Bless the caffeine gods.
Lunch:
We went all out at an Indian restaurant, which does an AYCE (All You Can Eat) buffet on weekends. Let me tell you—the food slapped extra hard today. I felt like I had a spiritual awakening mid-bite. On my very full plate:
- spinach dal
- shahi paneer
- baghar baingan
- malai paneer pasta
- chicken biryani
- chicken tikka masala
I couldn’t even order a mango lassi even though it was free with the buffet. I was breathing heavy afterward like I’d just run a marathon, but emotionally I was thriving. Paneer is my love language.
Post-lunch activities (aka trying to walk it off):
We went shopping nearby for a couple hours, justifying it as our form of “light cardio.” Then we treated ourselves to pedicures at a spot nearby. Gotta keep the toes cute if I’m going to go back to slinging feet pics on Feetfinder.
Afternoon pick-me-up:
We stopped by White Sparrow Coffee, where I tried their creamsicle coffee and Krystiana got the matcha blueberry. Not gonna lie—hers tasted better. But both were good. I only made it halfway through mine though.
Afternoon activities:
Of course, we “just popped into” Sephora during their sale, and no, I didn’t buy anything. I did, however, help her pick out a cologne for her man.
Supper:
Later that evening, Sal’s Pizzeria had a BOGO deal on their app for first-time orders. I was still full but couldn’t resist. I got the gluten-free BBQ chicken pizza. Had one slice, then tucked the rest into the fridge.
End of day:
Tapped. Out. The only thing I consumed after that was barley tea and water. I need to go back to work so I can stop putting on the feedbag.
