This time, it was at one of the newer steakhouse restaurants that opened up, Ocean 48.
Three of my friends weren’t able to make it but that didn’t stop me from going. Obviously, I’m going for three things: education, good eats, and the drama. At this event, there were only two of the three. The usual suspects were a no show for whatever reason so it was low key as the speaker talked about vesicular monoamine transporter 2 inhibitor and dopamine.
Unfortunately, there’s no chisme or tea to spill. Everyone was on their best behavior. BORING.
Chopped Napa: heirloom cherry tomatoes, radicchio, white balsamic vinaigrette, and toasted sesame seeds.
Petite filet mignon medium rare, roasted brussels sprouts, and Boursin cheese whipped potatoes.
Not pictured were the red velvet bread pudding and bread.
