lotteria

What would you do if you won the lottery?

We obviously did NOT win. Le sigh.

I’m in two lottery groups and once in a while, I’ll buy tickets for myself.  If you don’t play, you can’t win.

If I won the lottery…there would be signs:

  1. Keep it to myself until I have all my affairs in order.
  2. Sign the back of the ticket and make a copy.
  3. Store the ticket in a safe deposit box in a bank.
  4. I would first get a CPA, a tax attorney, and a trust & estate lawyer.
  5. Get an LLC so that it will protect my identity and maintain my privacy because I don’t want all the vultures to come out of the woodwork.
  6. Take the lump sum.
  7. Retire.
  8. Make sure my family and close friends are financially secure and I would step into philanthropy.
  9. Change my phone number and close all my socials.
  10. Go to Korea and get plastic surgery so no one will ever recognize me…LOL.
  11. Live in Asia for a couple of years till the hype dies down.
  12. Create an animal shelter specifically for those who have high needs and workshops to teach the elderly how to use use their electronics, navigate social media and other apps so they can stay connected and avoid isolation.

I don’t play. I have had disposable money twice in my life, and each ended in fiasco, so I guess forewarned is forearmed- I cannot be trusted with large sums of money! Good luck to you though!

🤣 thank you!! I think that’s why I would need a lawyer and cpa to keep me straight

You are smart to be in lottery groups. I’ve known several people who have won large amounts of money through groups. I think your list is great. I’m with you through #9. I don’t think plastic surgery is in the cards for me. 🙂

One day I hope I win!! Do you think it’s better to be in a group vs individual?

I’ve seen it go both ways. Groups break down some of those odds on the bigger games. I like to play our state’s Rolling Cash Five. It’s a daily $1.00 draw that has a winning pot of anywhere from $100k to $250K and people win that all the time. Much better odds than like the Power Ball.

“Go to Korea and get plastic surgery” 🤣 😆 that’s hilarious. Love your idea for the animal shelter and for the elderly though, very humble 🙏

It would be a true miracle if I won the lottery since I never buy a ticket.

  9. […] Honestly, I’m ready to be a lotto winning billionaire.  Just sayin’.  And what happens when I win is in a previous WP prompt: lotteria. […]
