What books do you want to read?

Oh man…I’ve started to put a few used books in my Amazon and Barnes & Nobles carts right now:

  • Anne Rice – The Claiming of Sleeping Beauty
  • Charles Bukowski – Post Office
  • George Orwell – 1984
  • Haruki Murakami – Absolutely on Music: Conversations
  • Haruki Murakami – First Person Singular: Stories
  • John G. Neihardt – Black Elk Speaks: The Complete Edition
  • Ken Liu – The Paper Menagerie
  • Louise Erdrich – The Night Watchman

I love getting lost in Murakami’s stories.

What books are in the queue for you?

Hello! I’ve got Kafka on the Shore! I started reading it some and I agree Murakami is sehr gut! Ya, and I have Dante’s Inferno and poems by Goethe too! That’s a great list Rojie!

What a nice mix of books. I tend to read what I write – lighter fare. Although I did just finish a terrorism thriller – The Drowning Game. I hope to be a little more diverse this year.

Ooh how did you like the drowning game?

Loved it! Great characters. Nothing dragged (so no skimming). Tense. Twists. Great ending. If you like the genre, you’ll like this.
