What is your dream job?

I answered a prompt similar to this before on dream(er) jobs.

So I’ll use another prompt from TCMC:

Do you prefer paperback or hardback books?

I prefer paperbacks for reading in bed or when traveling—they’re lightweight, easy to hold, and so much more convenient to carry around. But aesthetic-wise, hardcovers look better, especially on shelves. 

While in college, all my books were digital, and I read them on my phone or computer. Did I enjoy it? Not at all. I’m someone who loves the tactile experience of holding a book, the smell of fresh pages, and the simple joy of physically turning each one.

    I completely agree with you on this one! Books are wonderful to have unless you are backpacking, then they are a true burden for sure, in my opinion.

    I love hardback books because it reminds me of first editions when they come out and that smell when it’s been just fresh pressed from the publisher. I love paperbacks too, but I like hardback just a little bit more.

    I do not like digital books, and aside from using them in college to get my masters degree I haven’t touched them since.

    Ya, I find that ebooks in pdf free download are a good option, this one book I have is riddled with typos

    Beautiful and convincing words. The feeling of reading and immersing oneself in the topics is different from having a tangible book in the hand or reading on the phone, and sometimes it is of no benefit.

    I like both paper and digital copies of books. I’m reading one on my computer that I got from oceanofpdf.com and it’s called The Magicians. Sort of like HP, without the bs.

    I love hardback books. But give me a nice floppy paper back and it’s like the angels have swooped down and given me a book straight from heavens library. lol I didn’t enjoy digital books in the beginning but I get so many free digital books that I would have never given the chance, so the e-books have a special place in my heart. Though, you can never beat the wonderful smell of a book.
