When I first started this job nine years ago, I laughed when the lady at the inservice said she went to sleep at 2000. Who the fuck goes to sleep at 2000? Geriatrics?
It’s nine years later and I’ve been exhausted since the pandemic and as we are getting closer to the end of 2024, chronic fatigue has officially set in. Sleeping at 2000 seems pretty damn amazing if you ask me.
Every time I slip under the covers at the end of the day, I have the biggest smile on my face. Whether I’m alone or not, I am so ready to go 99 (nine nine (sounds like night night)).
