Currently listening to: 21 guns – Green Day

Do you know what’s worth fighting for
When it’s not worth dying for?
Does it take your breath away
And you feel yourself suffocating?
Does the pain weigh out the pride?
And you look for a place to hide?
Did someone break your heart inside?
You’re in ruins

Share what you know about the year you were born.

My mom was working at Martin Luther King Jr. Hospital and my dad owned a gas station in Los Angeles at that time.  My parents hired a babysitter while my parents were at work.  The babysitter didn’t last long because it turned out that she was stealing from my parents.

My dad’s gas station was constantly getting robbed and it was getting dangerous as guns were drawn on him multiple times. They faced racism, had difficulty speaking English, and were very homesick. They questioned whether or not they made the right decision but decided that they needed to trust the process.

My mother was a candystriper and my dad was a carpenter. Mom was only 21 but Dad was 38 and married. Mom made a HUGE mistake and she is forever running away from her mistake. 🙁

Oh dang…hopefully one day she’ll deal with her issues?

It is so sad, but I pray your parents can recover quickly from difficulties. You shall not witness such again.
