Other honorable mention:

• one of the assistant managers from Turkey – he was encouraging, kind, and soft-spoken.  He had given me so many accolades and awards while I was a part of his team. I silently cried when he left and moved out of state.  We still keep in touch and text about our lives and work.  He made the right choice though, I could see him withering away here and seeing the light grow dim.  This place will suck the life out of you and if you don’t build allies or a support system, you won’t last.  Staff gave him the nickname, jamón (dry cured ham), cause he would get sunburnt easily and had a pink tone to his face often.
