Currently listening to: Why Can’t I – Liz Phair
Last month, I went to the local Japan Fair. NGL, I went mostly for the food and shopping.
You know I had to get the Japanese A5 Miyazaki Wagyu. It was so good.
But I wasn’t done putting on the feedbag. I had to get an tamago sando. Why…is this so good? Yes, I stuffed my face with carbs because it was so delicious, creamy, fluffy, and creamy. I chased it down with a cup of ceremonial green tea.
My Melody and Kuromi are going too hard.
One of my fav plushie artists and Emmy Award nominated animator, Arut Tantasirin, had a booth. I met him last year at the Tet festival. A friend of mine bought me the Warbie plushie for Christmas a couple of years ago because I always say “this chick”. Anyway, I got the special edition dragon costume for it. As you can see, he is not amused.
Growing up in Minnesota, my cousin, my friends, and I celebrated so many different cultures. Any chance we could get, we would. When we were at uni, we joined so many Asian student associations:
- VSA (Vietnamese Student Association)
- CASA (Chinese American Student Association)
- HMSA (Hmong Minnesota Student Association)
- KSA (Korean Student Association)
- ISA (Indian Student Association)
- JSA (Japanese Student Association)
- PSA (Philippine Student Association)
I’m pretty sure I had an identity crisis but then again, we all did. And we didn’t care.
