What is good about having a pet?

2025

I didn’t think I’d get another pet after my pittie passed away but here I am with a rescue Yorki-Poo. He has bonded more with my mom because of my work schedule and my frequent outings.

2024

I had a American Shorthair cat (12 years old) and an American Staffordshire Terrier aka AmStaff aka Pitbull (15 years old).  I loved them as if they were my children.  They had the best of the best.

I’ve also had other animals growing up: dog (Golden Retriever/Irish Setter), parakeets, guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils, rat, rabbits, saltwater fish, and freshwater fish).  

The best things about having a pet:

  • they’re loyal AF
  • they decrease blood pressure
  • feel less lonely and improve mental health
  • increase exercise

    That sounds like a mini zoo at different times…
    The kitty and doggie are cutie patootie 🥰🥰.
    Yesterday my daughter says she wants bunnies now 😱

            Pups and kittens is daily. She wants a hamster, turtle, piglet, birds, cubs (lions, tigers etc) 😱… got to buy a zoo 🤣

    Definitely, Rojie. They are a joy. Hugs to cuppee. Anyway, I’d love to learn duplicating a post with the old comments in it, but I can’t get the AI support in the WordPress. I don’t know how to perfect their guide. I wish to do it.

          Hi Hazel! I changed the posts that I wanted to revise as “draft” and from there, I was able to revise my old posts. When I’m ready to re-post, I change the status to publish and I do not change any of the dates. I hope that helps? Might wanna try one just to test it out.

            I’m afraid that if I move it to the draft, it will not appear on the published posts. And, I also wonder, maybe because I have only a tablet that’s why it’s not easy to navigate like this. I think having a laptop has many options to see. I wonder about my plugins too, different from what Will explains to me about what he sees.

            I appreciate you, Rojie. I think I let it be for now. I might have time to explore and study it next time. Thank you.

            when you move it to draft it will turn private but after you’ve made the revisions and change it to publish again, it should appear. ooh i can’t see my plugins unless i’m on my desktop. idk if it’s different on a tablet. but do what you think is best, Hazel!
