Currently listening to: The Man – Taylor Swift
I’d be an alpha type
When everyone believes ya
What’s that like?
Wondering if I’d get there quicker
If I was a man
And I’m so sick of them coming at me again
‘Cause if I was a man
Then I’d be the man
What principles define how you live?
Everyone is a limited edition, it’s a sonder realization. We all have different lives – experiences, upbringings, and we are all the main characters in our own lives.

Work hard, play hard.
- I don’t believe that work-life balance exists. This is a fast-paced world and balancing work and life, especially in the U.S. is not feasible. As a double minority, I know that I have to work hard and play the game by being clever. When it becomes overwhelming, I might complain about it for a minute but then I get into beast mode. I know that eventually, there will be a light at the end of the tunnel. Once I get out of whatever hell I got myself into, I relish and treasure those moments.

- Do what you love. Indulge in the good foods, explore new destinations, broaden my knowledge, implement a new skincare regimen, support local businesses, or simply enjoy a lazy day at home rotting in bed and doing absolutely nothing.

- I also enjoy being mischievous, silly, and not taking myself too seriously.

- Stay fit and healthy. It’s a delicate dance of choices. Sure, I have gluten relapses every now and then, but we all have our vices. Until CRISPR is available I have to rely on my good old-fashioned methods to keep my body in check.
- Out of clutter, find simplicity. I love living a minimal life, it helps me create a space for what matters… and I choose to invest more on enriching experiences. I donate heavily (personal belongings) throughout the year, whether it’s through charities or giving them to staff or friends.
- Try new things. Change can be intimidating. I don’t like change but I know that in order to evolve, I have to go out of my comfort zone.

- Don’t be a bag of dicks. I try to practice kindness and empathy, but there are times when people mistaken it for weakness or an opportunity for them to take advantage of me. Kindness and empathy aren’t a free pass for exploitation; it’s a ripple in the pond of humanity. For those opportunistic assholes who want to capitalize on someone’s kindness, all I gotta say is karma. Karma’s out there taking notes, rest assured.
