What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?
My dad tried to have “the talk” with me in Korean. It wasn’t just once but multiple times and we would have the same dialogue every time.
Dad: all men are thieves
Me: *laughs*
Dad: really, they will steal everything away from you. Your love, virginity, innocence, youth, and feelings
Me: you are a thief too then
Dad: all men but me
Me: *rolls eyes*
One of my favorite directors told me, “Ro, don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t. You’re smart. You can do anything you want to do.”
